Data deletion

You can stop BYOM's access at any time, in either of two places.

In BYOM: open Integrations, choose Meta Ads and click Disconnect Meta Ads. BYOM stops reading your ad account straight away and deletes the stored access token and the ad data it imported. A record that the connection existed is kept as an audit entry.

In Facebook: open Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations. Find BYOM and click Remove. This revokes BYOM's access.

Email hello@byom.co from the address on your BYOM account, with the subject "Data deletion request". Say whether you want your Meta data deleted, or everything BYOM holds for your business.

We reply in writing to confirm what will be deleted and when. We then delete it, and confirm in writing when it is done.

For Meta, this covers the stored access token and the ad account, ad, creative and performance data BYOM read from it. BYOM does not read your Facebook profile, friends or messages.

Copies in our encrypted database backups expire on their own within seven days of deletion.
