> A Readout is a board you build from your own data. Every block is a question with its answer, and every figure shows how it adds up and where it was read. A Watch tells you the moment a figure moves.

## How you build one

- Pick what to count: Choose the data points from your store, your helpdesk and the work Kina and your team do in BYOM.
- Type the maths: Combine them the way you would in a spreadsheet cell: a rate, a share, one figure per another.
- Choose how it shows: A number, a number with its trend, bars by day, a line, or this period beside the one before.
- Compare what matters: Hold it against the period before or a target you set, and say which way is bad news.

## Every figure shows its working

- How it adds up: Open any figure and see the sum, with each value in its place.
- Where it was read: Each figure names the system it came from, and says so when it came from more than one.
- Unavailable is a word: A figure that cannot be read says Unavailable, with the reason and what would fix it. A real zero shows as 0.
- Only what was measured: A day with no data is drawn as a gap. Nothing is smoothed over or filled in.

## Ask for a figure

Say the figure you want in your own words. BYOM builds the block, works it out from your data and shows it to you. Add it to the sheet, change it, or leave it. Nothing is saved until you add it.

The judgment engine picks the right read for your question. The number itself is always counted, never guessed.

- How many contacts do we get for every 100 orders?
- How long does a customer wait for a first reply?
- How many changes did we approve this week?

## Watches

A Watch tells you the moment a figure moves. Draw a line on any block: tell me when this goes above, or below, a number. The first time the figure crosses it, a card opens on your board with the figure, the line and the Readout it came from.

- One card, not a stream: After a Watch fires it stays quiet until the figure comes back inside the line.
- Missing is not moving: A figure that could not be read is never treated as a crossing.
- It never changes anything: A Watch opens a card for a person to read. Any change to your store is still an Action you approve.

## Made to be yours

- Private until you share it: A new Readout is yours alone. Share it with your team when it is ready.
- Start from a template: Templates such as Trading week give you a board to change, not a fixed report.
- One screen per sheet: A sheet fits the screen without scrolling. When it is full, the next block starts a new sheet.
- Your dates: Today, the last 7, 14, 30 or 90 days, or a range you choose. Each block can keep its own.

## Impact

Impact shows what the work gave back. Measured facts come first: the runs Kina finished, the changes made and how long a typical run took, by kind of work. Time and money saved are your own estimate, from the minutes and hourly rate you set, shown with the sum behind it.

It counts time, not sales. What a change did for the business is measured in Growth Engine Results.

## Questions

- What is a Readout? A Readout is a board you build from your own data. Every block is a question with its answer. You choose what to count, type the maths, and choose how it shows and what it is compared with.
- How is a Readout different from a dashboard? Every figure shows how it adds up and where it was read, so you can check it. Nothing about a block is fixed, so the board is yours. And a Watch does something when a figure moves: it opens a card for a person.
- Where do the figures come from? From the tools you have connected, such as your store and your helpdesk, and from the work Kina and your team do in BYOM. Each figure names the system it was read from.
- What happens when a figure cannot be read? It says Unavailable, with the reason and what would fix it, such as connecting your store. A real zero shows as 0. A figure is never left blank or guessed.
- Can I ask for a figure instead of building it? Yes. Say what you want in your own words and BYOM builds the block, works it out from your data and shows it to you. The number is always counted, never guessed, and nothing is saved until you add it.
- What does a Watch do when a figure crosses the line? It opens a card on your board with the figure, the line and the Readout it came from. Then it stays quiet until the figure comes back inside the line. A Watch never changes anything in your store.
- Who can see my Readouts? A new Readout is private to you. Share it and your team can open it.
- Are Readouts included in every plan? Yes. Readouts and Watches are part of the whole product, which every paid plan includes from £200 a month.
- Does Impact claim sales? No. Impact shows measured facts first: the runs Kina finished, the changes made and how long they took. Time and money saved are your own estimate from the minutes and hourly rate you set. It counts time, not sales.
