> BYOM gives each person in a commerce brand Kina, an AI operator that does the work across your store, helpdesk and growth. You approve every change, and every change is recorded.

## The thesis

Built for the entrepreneurs who run their own business.

Independent brands are competing with much larger teams. The difference has always been reach: more hands, more hours, more eyes on every product. AI can close that gap, if the founder stays in charge of it. BYOM starts with Shopify, and it is built for ambitious commerce brands wherever they sell.

BYOM gives you one assistant across your store, your helpdesk and growth. Kina reads the evidence, drafts the work and proposes the change. An independent check reads it first. You approve it, BYOM writes it once, and a record shows what happened with a way back.

Kina does not run your business. It gives you the reach to run more of it yourself.

You stay the approver. Kina stays accountable.

## What we care about

Merchants first. Partners beside us. Infrastructure underneath.

- Merchants and brands: BYOM comes from years spent working alongside merchants and the people who build brands. Everything here is measured by whether it gives them more reach and keeps them in charge.
- Partners: Agencies, developers and the platforms a brand already runs are part of how the work gets done. BYOM is built to work with them, never around them.
- Infrastructure: We build the foundations first: integrations, memory, checks, the approval gate and records. Features change. The foundations are what a brand builds on.

## Questions

- What is BYOM? BYOM is the AI operating layer for the people in a commerce brand: each person gets Kina, an AI operator that works across the store, the helpdesk and the growth tools their job needs. Kina does the work, you approve every change, and every change is recorded.
- What is Kina? Kina is the AI operator in BYOM. Kina reads the evidence, drafts the answer and proposes the change. You approve it, BYOM writes it once, and a record shows what happened with a way back.
- Does Kina run the business? Kina does not run your business. It gives you the reach to run more of it yourself. You stay the approver. Kina stays accountable.
- Can the store change before someone approves it? No. You approve every change. A named person approves, BYOM writes it once, and a record shows what happened.
- What does a receipt record? What changed, who approved it, on what evidence, and whether it can be undone.
